Previously known as the Bemidji Board of REALTORS®, the organization has expanded to include a broad membership base, dedicated to exceeding the expectations of those they serve, in one of the most picturesque regions of the state.

REALTOR® of the Year
Tammy Tisland
Every year the Northwest Minnesota Association of REALTORS© recognizes a REALTOR© member who has made a significant contribution to the Association and their community. We want to congratulate Tammy Tisland on being chosen by her fellow peers as the NWMAR 2022 Realtor of the Year. Tammy is the broker for United Country Bold North Realty & Auctions. Tammy has been instrumental in onboarding multiple new agents this year. She is also involved in her community and active in the real estate industry.
Tammy was presented her award by one of her agents, Greta Nelson, at the NWMAR Annual Meeting Event on September 14th.
Citizen of the Year
Ryan Strem
Each year the Northwest Minnesota Association of REALTORS© recognizes a member who has made contributions to the Association and/or their community. Congratulations to Ryan Strem, agent with Re/Max Bemidji, for being chosen as the NWMAR 2022 Citizen of the Year.
Ryan was nominated by his peers for his “above and beyond” dedication to the community. Ryan is actively involved in the real estate industry and has created a unique work-life balance. The memories that have been made with the vision of a real-life Field of Dreams and bringing the community together will not soon be forgotten.

Award Applications
The Northwest Minnesota Association of REALTORS® annually selects REALTOR© members to be highlighted at the association’s annual meeting in September. Our members hold significant value to not only the association but the community as a whole.
Awards applications are now available year round. This is your opportunity to acknowledge your colleagues that go above and beyond for the community and the real estate industry to make a valuable impact.
An Awards Committee is selected by the Board of Directors to choose the final recipients. Recipients of the awards will receive a plaque and recognition on this website.
